Over the years the meanings of the Tarot Cards have remained constant although there are many misunderstandings relating to certain cards in particular.
Any inquirer must remember that the future is not set in stone and by action or inaction any situation may be altered or modified for better or for worse.
Each individual holds the key to their own destiny in their hands, the Tarot can provide an insight to the future we are creating for ourselves, it is what we do with that insight which defines our path ahead.
In my own readings I do not ask the inquirer to reverse part of the deck before beginning. It has long been my opinion, shared with other more eminent persons, that no purpose is served by this fashion, the cards themselves in conjunction with those adjacent to them and their relative positions in a spread already encompass all possible scenarios.
Treat your reading then as a sketch of a time you are going to visit, the details are for you to fill in.
