Ace of Swords - Transformation, opposing forces, invoked forces of good or evil. Strength through adversity. Justice, authority, punishment. Commencement of adversity.
Two - Peace restored.
Three - Sorrow.
Four - Truce, rest from strife.
Five - Defeat.
Six - Science, earned success.
Seven - Futility, unstable effort.
Eight - Interference, shortened force.
Nine - Cruelty, despair.
Ten - Ruin.
Princess/Knave - Mediator, practical wisdom, manages well despite difficulties, stern, avenging, aggressive, oppressed by responsibility. Bad news or delays.
Prince - Intellectual creator/destroyer. Detached thinking, changeable, cunning, deceiver. Fervent whims are quickly discarded.
Queen - Perspective, observant, quick, confident, graceful. Attractiveness may conceal treachery. Malice, unreliability.
King - Skilled, clever, subtle, impulsive, brave, fierce, indecisive. Military man. Can be easily overcome.
