In Meditation
The Tarot has many shades of use and encompasses in its highest form much of the doctrine of religious belief. A short piece like this is hardly the place to enter so vast a subject but, here more than in the previous sections, we must point out the advantages of a Version of The Map still only dreamed of in which the rings revolve independently to form new configurations appropriate to the object of the meditation.
You can, on the other hand, use the cards themselves to alter the layout in front of you.
Each individual interested in the application of the Tarot for meditative purposes will find their own way round the obstacle of a static Map, the most adventurous may recreate their Maps in Mandala form, it will be found that the layout is adaptable to any form of esoteric study.
Anyone using The Map will realise it is both Macrocosmic and Microcosmic, applicable to the life-cycle of our planet in the same way as it applies to a single person. The Zodiacal cards equally represent the ‘Ages’ or together a single year.
Qabbalists and others will recognise their systems represented in The Map and it is outwith our scope here to venture into great detail on the matter. All relevant information has been covered by eminent authors in many and varied volumes.
Those who desire Knowledge will find it.
